Diamond Falls marketing firm earns top honors for logo and brochure design

Congratulations to Peak Seven Advertising, the marketing firm that developed the identity, advertising, collateral and display materials for Diamond Falls Estates. The Diamond Falls brochure and Logo recently won GOLD honors in the the Advertising Federation's annual ADDY awards.

Peak Seven tied for most GOLD wins and second for most awards on the night. All total Peak Seven won six gold and three silver awards. Diamond Falls' Preferred Builder crafting log musuem center at Toccoa Falls College

Bill Bryson, a Log Home builder and a member of Diamond Falls Estates Preferred Builder Team, is currently hard at work on The Outdoor and Environmental Education Center at Toccoa Falls College. The Center is a project of the Toccoa Falls College Alumni Association and will house a natural history museum honoring Leon and Rachel Gathany.

Mr. Gathany is a highly respected naturalist whose role as Naturalist for the State of Georgia Parks and Historic Sites included between 200-300 lectures and seminars provided annually to public schools, colleges, camps, community clubs and organizations in Stephens County and the Greater Atlanta area. During the 1960s and the 1970s, he was principal and teacher of the Toccoa Falls High School. From 1976 to 1983 he taught at Big A Elementary and Stephens County Middle School where he made a great impact on the school children of the community.

The Center will house Mr. Gathany's extensive collection, which includes dinosaur, animal, and plant fossils from the phosphate mines of Florida and North Carolina, as well as his animal collection representing wildlife from around the world. It's located on the campus of Toccoa Falls College, across from the swimming pond and historic power plant, near the entrance to the Beaver Dam/Dead Man's Branch Trail.

Visitors are encouraged to come out and watch one of the region's premier log home builders at work as logs are specially cut and placed into their grooves for walls. When complete, the Center will be a spacious log cabin with interior walls of pine board and will have a wrap-around porch on three sides. There will also be an outbuilding and parking area.
